Our Story
We started as a family project called 2 Navy Vets Still Serving.
Each month the Veterans and their family provide meals or care packages to homeless, displaced people, and veterans in the community.
On holidays the Veterans provided dinner for a halfway home for men, Mother's Day gifts for Women in the Women’s Shelter, and warm clothing or hotel rooms for people on the street during the freezing winters. 2 Navy Vets Still Serving was committed to doing more.
They began assisting homeless, displaced people, and veterans to get connected to agencies such as DAV, VFW, Smile, Shelters, Rehab's programs and the VA medical centers. They also assisted other organizations in their effort to make a difference in the community.
When the family was servicing over 200 people at any given time, it was time to organize.
With the help of C&P Multi-Services of LA, LLC , TK's Treasures and funding from the sales of Clap N Praise Seasonings, we are doing more.
The veterans family project 2 Navy Vets Still Serving became The 2 Navy Vets Foundation.
2 Navy Vets Foundation is passionate about providing help and assistance to our community and our military veterans.
2 Navy Vets Foundation is a nonprofit organization located in the Lafayette, Louisiana
